We had a great stay in this amazing house. The house is beautiful, clean and bright The rooms are beautiful and the bedding impeccable. We were 5 and each had our own bathroom! There are lots of small restaurants around the house and the beach is 15 minutes away by walking. Our dog was very happy in this house where he was super well hosted with games and treats. We can only recommend this place and we'll be happy to come back!
Great location in centre of Porlock with 2 parking spaces. Spacious bedrooms and well equipped. Close to lovely walks.
Great house and great central location in Porlock village. Lovely big open plan living area - great for family and friends. So handy for the local pubs and shops. Taking the open top bus from Porlock to County Gate and walking to Porlock Weir was fun.

Everything was perfect. Superb cottage with all we could have needed. Very big inside and great open plan layout . Exmoor location could not have been better. Can't wait to book again for 2023. Didn't want to come home.

Lovely house, well located, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped to a high standard. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend based on our experience.
It is a great, exceptional house recently refurbished, with good beds, excellent bed linnen and towels, all great showers and a great kitchen (including Nespresso machine). Netflix is an added bonus for the evenings after a challenging hike. Porlock is great for exploring Exmoor with a couple of good pubs and restaurants.
We stayed in March 2022. Location is fabulous, house is fabulous. There are some wonderful walks right on the doorstep, and very handy for the pub! Lots of DVD's & games for nights in. Great for 4 friends and 1 dog.
A perfect holiday spot in beautiful Porlock. We have loved exploring all around. The kids loved the recreation ground and the slide especially. Yummy food at both Ships - we are now regulars! We had a treat driving across Exmoor in the snow - it looked picture perfect.
The cottage is centrally located for everything- the village with its great selection of shops, we didn’t need to drive to a supermarket, a great choice of tea shops pubs and restaurants to choose from for meals out (The fish n chip shop across the road is highly recommended ) and brilliant walks from the doorstep
The central Porlock location is perfect for walking in many directions. There are many maps available inside the front door that guided us around the area. Fast internet and good mobile signal (best in the courtyard) meant that we could work when necessary and book restaurants easily.
Fantastic location in a charming, friendly village with all amenities literally on your doorstep. Make sure to book restaurants and pubs in advance during high season. The Dog House is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. We appreciated the biscuits for humans and the doggy treat bag too. Great stay.

Such a perfect position in Porlock to visit the beach and take advantage of all teh differnet places to eat.
